Rides and Events Calendar
Sunday rides during BST are pre-planned. Outside of this ad hoc rides take place as below. There is often an ad-hoc ride during the week.
Don’t forget to keep an eye on the Members’ Noticeboard for changes, cancellations and additional rides. See further explanation below the calendar.
Summer season: Between late March to late October there is an organised programme of club rides which usually take place on a Sunday. Details appear against each calendar entry. If poor weather is forecast for the Sunday, the ride may be moved to the Saturday, so please check the Members’ Noticeboard and WhatsApp group for updates. *
Events: Weekend trips and longer events are also arranged during the spring, summer and early autumn. Details of these are distributed to club members via email. *
Winter Season: There are no pre-planned rides or designated ride leaders – Members usually meet up at 10.00 every Sunday at Radyr Weir for an ad hoc ride to be decided by the participants.
Midweek Rides: Throughout the year ad hoc midweek rides are arranged by members, with the meeting points and destination by decided by participants. These are posted on the WhatsApp group and Members’ Notice Board.
* On weekends where events are scheduled, the pre-planned Sunday rides will usually be replaced by an ad hoc ride for those members not participating in the events.
